Updated Snowfall for the East
A several inch snowfall created poor travel conditions across the Midwest Thursday. Cities that had to deal with the storm include Chicago, Milwaukee, Indianapolis, Detroit and Columbus.
The storm is departing this region for destinations to the east. That means Baltimore, Philadelphia, New York and Boston will get snow through Friday morning, but this will not be a big storm for the I-95 corridor. Why? Simply, this storm will not rapidly strengthen along the coast, like some do.The storm will produce decent snowfall into the Appalachians, but amounts will dwindle to under 2 inches on the coastal plain.Story by AccuWeather.com Senior Meteorologist John Kocet
